# Sign in to your SendWhale account — email or Google

> Sign in to SendWhale at /login using your email and password or Google OAuth, manage your session, and pick up where you left off in onboarding.

Sign in to your SendWhale account at [gosendwhale.com/login](https://www.gosendwhale.com/login). You can authenticate with the email address and password you registered with, or use Google OAuth if you signed up that way. After a successful sign-in, SendWhale takes you directly to your workspace — or back to the onboarding flow if you haven't completed it yet.

## Sign in with email and password

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to the sign-in page">
    Navigate to [gosendwhale.com/login](https://www.gosendwhale.com/login).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your credentials">
    Type your registered **email address** and **password**, then click **Sign in**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Use 'Remember email' (optional)">
    Check **Remember email** before signing in if you want the email field pre-filled on your next visit.

    <Note>
      "Remember email" only saves your email address in the browser for convenience — it does not extend your session, grant persistent access, or change any security settings.
    </Note>
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Sign in with Google

Click **Continue with Google** on the sign-in page. You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth flow. After authenticating with Google, you're returned to SendWhale and signed in automatically.

<Info>
  Google is the only OAuth provider available for sign-in. If you registered with email and password, use the email and password form rather than the Google button.
</Info>

## Returning to onboarding

If you created an account but didn't finish the five-step onboarding flow, SendWhale automatically returns you to the onboarding screen after you sign in. Complete all five steps to reach your workspace.

## Session management and signing out

Your session remains active until you explicitly sign out or it expires. To sign out:

1. Open the account menu in the top-right corner of the app.
2. Click **Sign out**.

Signing out ends your current session immediately. Any unsaved draft changes may be lost, so save your work before signing out.

## Forgot your password?

Click the **Forgot password?** link on the sign-in page, or go directly to [/forgot-password](https://www.gosendwhale.com/forgot-password). See [Reset your password](/accounts/password-reset) for the full walkthrough.

## Don't have an account yet?

Create one at [gosendwhale.com/signup](https://www.gosendwhale.com/signup). See [Create your account](/accounts/register) for step-by-step instructions.
