- Image — insert from your media library or upload directly
- Button — a styled call-to-action linked to any URL
- Social links — icons linked to your social media profiles
- Divider — a horizontal rule to separate sections
- Spacer — adjustable vertical whitespace
- Columns — multi-column layout containers for side-by-side content

- Padding — adjust inner spacing on blocks and sections
- Background colors — set section and block backgrounds independently
- Font settings — choose font family, size, weight, and color for text blocks

Buttons
A Button block links a call-to-action label to any URL. Set the button text, destination URL, and styling (color, border radius, padding) from the block settings panel.Social links
The Social links block lets you add icon links to your brand’s social profiles. Configure each platform’s URL in the block settings.Footer
Every email sent through SendWhale automatically includes an unsubscribe link and your business address in the footer. These are required by law in most jurisdictions and cannot be removed.Device preview
Use the device preview toggle in the editor toolbar to switch between Desktop and Mobile views. Review your layout at both sizes before sending — column-heavy layouts often need adjustments to render well on small screens.HTML / code view
Switch to the HTML view from the editor toolbar to edit the raw email HTML directly. Use this for advanced customizations that are not possible with the drag-and-drop blocks. Changes made in code view are reflected in the visual editor, though complex custom HTML may not be fully editable as individual blocks.Autosave and revisions
The editor autosaves your changes as you work. To access previous versions:- Open the editor toolbar
- Select Revisions
- Browse the revision history and restore any earlier version
Concurrent edit conflicts
If a teammate saves a new version of the campaign while you are editing, SendWhale displays a conflict notice. Refresh the editor to load their latest version before continuing your edits — otherwise your save may overwrite their changes. The campaign editor and the hosted-page editor are separate tools with different document models. Edits you make to a campaign in the campaign editor do not affect any hosted pages, and vice versa.
