Scheduling a campaign lets you plan your sends in advance and deliver them at the time most likely to reach your audience. SendWhale’s campaign calendar gives you a visual overview of all scheduled campaigns in your workspace so you can avoid gaps or overlaps in your sending cadence.

How to schedule a campaign

1

Open the campaign calendar

Navigate to the campaign calendar from your campaign’s detail page, or go directly to /app/calendar. The calendar shows all currently scheduled campaigns in your workspace.
2

Select your campaign

Use the campaign preview cards to find and select the campaign you want to schedule.
3

Choose a date and time

Pick the date and time you want the campaign to send. The calendar shows your existing scheduled sends so you can choose a time that fits your cadence.
4

Select a timezone

Choose the timezone your scheduled time is based on. Select the timezone that makes sense for your audience — most teams use their primary market’s timezone.
5

Confirm the schedule

Review the full scheduled date, time, and timezone, then confirm. The campaign is now scheduled and visible on the workspace calendar.

Rescheduling a campaign

You can change the date or time of a scheduled campaign at any point before it begins sending:
  1. Open the campaign from the calendar or your campaign list
  2. Select Reschedule
  3. Choose a new date, time, and timezone
  4. Confirm the update
The campaign moves to the new time slot on the calendar.

Cancelling a scheduled campaign

To cancel a scheduled send before it goes out:
  1. Open the scheduled campaign
  2. Select Cancel Schedule
  3. Confirm the cancellation
The campaign returns to Draft status and is removed from the calendar. You can reschedule it or edit it further before sending.
Cancellation is only possible before the campaign begins sending. Once delivery starts, the campaign cannot be recalled. See Send Campaign for details on cancelling a queued send.
Meeting booking pages at /book/:slug and the workspace scheduler at /app/scheduler are a separate feature for booking meetings with contacts. They are not related to campaign scheduling and have no effect on your email calendar.
